Unusual agave, from the Mexican states of Oaxaca, Puebla and Veracruz, where it forms small colonies in climbing rhizomes in the area of dry scrub or in the meadows, with elongated vertical crowns of stiff, succulent leaves and a pale green color. They are heavily armed with black thorns along the edges, forming a prodigious living barrier. It adapts very well in cultivation and can withstand droughts and moderate frosts, are characteristic of the agaves of the family of the karwinskii.
A mezcal with a light smoky flavor, sweet, strong and dry on the palate, flavors between roots and earth.
