Unusual agave, from the Mexican states of Oaxaca, Puebla and Veracruz, where it forms small colonies in climbing rhizomes in the area of ​​dry scrub or in the meadows, with elongated vertical crowns of stiff, succulent leaves and a pale green color. They are heavily armed with black thorns along the edges, forming a prodigious living barrier. It adapts very well in cultivation and can withstand droughts and moderate frosts, are characteristic of the agaves of the family of the karwinskii.

A mezcal with a light smoky flavor, sweet, strong and dry on the palate, flavors between roots and earth.
